About Our Founder

Hailing from Reidsville, North Carolina, one small-town girl made it her mission to pursue her dreams in beautiful, sunny Palm Springs.

With worrying about the abundance of details often associated with a cross-country move along with her never-quit, tenacious attitude, Morgan Janney, formerly known as the Southern Belle, made quick of getting to work and becoming a well-known real estate agent in the Palm Springs area.

After two years of buying and selling, Morgan left that sector of the real estate world to help ACME, a vacation rental management company, build their luxury portfolio. Not before long, Morgan found herself craving involvement in real estate and returned to buying and selling, quickly becoming a top performer at multiple brokerages she had the pleasure of working for.

As Morgan matured in her career, she found herself gravitating toward commercial real estate opportunities and found herself intrigued in the investment world. Combining her unmatched experience as a real estate agent and her passion to help investors, Done Deal Real Estate Investments was born. Currently functioning as a team under The Firm brokerage, Done Deal Real Estate Investments views real estate as a way to generate income. As Morgan states, “There is a reason why billionaires have investments in real estate. It just makes sense.”

“The Why” Behind Her Drive

Prior to starting Done Deal REI, Morgan felt that there was not space to discuss how real estate is not just personal, it isn’t just for finding a home, but it can be used as a way to create generational wealth and ongoing passive income. She dreamt of curating a space where investors, beginners or veterans, could speak with someone about their options to invest in real estate without feeling limited in their resources.

So many people have leaned on the notion that real estate and investments should be kept separate, but at Done Deal Real Estate Investments says, “Fuck that. Our goal is to make your money MAKE money.”

Her Southern Charm—with a Touch of Spicy

Raised in Southern ways, Morgan learned the importance of a hard work ethic, manners, and always picking up the phone to listen to others’ needs rather than focusing on making money for herself. Steadfast in the Southern “practice what you preach” mentality, Morgan does exactly that—moving her and her wife every couple of years if the equity is there. Her wife, Liz, knows that when it’s time to move, it’s time to move, which is why she never gets emotionally attached to a home or real estate. If it makes money, it’s time to go, and that is who she finds herself working best with. For Morgan, the joy comes from the transaction and her ability to help her clients become more prosperous in their goals.
